I just had a question regarding the bunkie boards. I was wondering if they can be used with a regular twin bed frame instead of using a box spring. My daughter is small and it would be nice to have her mattress lower down.
A twin size bunkie board will work just as well as boxspring. The bunkie board will only add approximately two inches to the height of the mattress where as a standard boxpsring will add nine inches. Another option is a low-profile foundation that is 5 inches tall.
